Panopto is a triptych of light boxes, attempting a personal narrative drawing on elements from Anthony Chen's film Wet Season. The central character of the film, a woman working as a teacher, generates a personal search of my own experience of teaching. In the work, the academic environment acquires a transitional but also a distanced, even alienating sense, perhaps brought about by constant exposure and observance. Panopto is the brand name of a digital platform that facilitates recording and live streaming of lectures and presentations, addressed primarily to businesses and educational institutions.

Panopto was created on the occasion of the
Overview Effect exhibition organized by Thessaloniki International Film Festival which invited 14 Greek artists to watch the films of the IC section and create original works for each one of them.
